God’s Final Word in His Son

1God, after He aspoke long ago to the fathers in bthe prophets in many portions and cin many ways, 2
Or at the end of these days
,
ein these last days fhas spoken to us
Lit in Son; or in the person of a Son
in hHis Son, whom He appointed iheir of all things, jthrough whom also He made the
Lit ages
,
lworld.

Lit Who being
And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact nrepresentation of His nature, and
Lit upholding
,
pupholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made qpurification of sins, He rsat down at the right hand of the sMajesty on high,
4having become as much better than the angels, as He has inherited a more excellent tname than they.

5For to which of the angels did He ever say, uYou are My Son,
Today I have begotten You”?
And again,
v“I will be a Father to Him
And He shall be a Son to Me”?

6And
Or again when He brings
when He again xbrings the firstborn into
Lit the inhabited earth
,
zthe world, He says, aaAnd let all the angels of God worship Him.”

7And of the angels He says, abWho makes His angels winds,
And His ministers a flame of fire.”

8But of the Son He says, acYour throne, O God, is forever and ever,
And the righteous scepter is the scepter of

9 aeYou have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness;
af Therefore God, Your God, has ag anointed You
With the oil of gladness above Your companions.”

10And, ahYou, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth,
And the heavens are the works of Your hands;
11 ai They will perish, but You remain;
aj And they all will become old like a garment,
12 ak And like a mantle You will roll them up;
Like a garment they will also be changed.
But You are al the same,
And Your years will not come to an end.”

13But to which of the angels has He ever said, amSit at My right hand,
an Until I make Your enemies
A footstool for Your feet”?

14Are they not all aoministering spirits, sent out to render service for the sake of those who will apinherit aqsalvation?
